Funeral services for Julia Kay Williams, 67, of Freeport will be Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Freeport with Rev. Michael Helms officiating. Burial will follow at Mims Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.
She passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at UTMB in Galveston, Texas.
She was a member of Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Church where she served as an usher. Her greatest achievement was raising her 3 children. She enjoyed baking, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She loved watching sports and was an avid Rockets and Texans fan.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories; son, Steven L. Williams, Jr. (Chenoa), Missouri; daughters, Kadrean Williams, Freeport and Kiara Hall, Lake Jackson; brothers, Henry L. Edwards, Jr. (Rosemary), Marvin Edwards (Stephenia) and Sam Edwards, Sr. (Vickie), 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers will be friends and family.
Visitation will be Friday, December 17, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria.
