Memorial services for Josephine Granville, 70, of Angleton will be Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 608 Karankawa, Angleton, TX with Bro. Sam Wax officiating.
She passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023.
Josephine Granville was born on November 9, 1952 in Galveston, Texas to her loving parents McKindley Owens, Sr and Mary Owens. She fell asleep in death on February 20, 2023, at the age of 70 years old. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses 16 years ago, on January 15, 2006.
Josephine attended high school in Alvin, Texas. She was a great cook, loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, McKindley Owens, Sr and Mary Owens; brothers, Walter Owens, Mckindley Owens, Jr. and Samuel Owens; sisters, Ethel Louise Cofield and Yuvon Owens.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her husband, Willie Bascom Granville (Bubba) of Angleton, Texas; daughters, Terrie Thomas (spouse John Thomas), Aundra Higgins (spouse Cisco Higgins) and Tracy Granville (spouse Roosevelt Stone). Josephine also leaves cherished memories with her two sisters Ethel Lynn Grear (spouse Michael Grear) and Stephany Gail Woodard; her two brothers, Elliot Owens and Randy Owens. Josephine had six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, friends and family members.
