John “Doc” Hall
Funeral services for John Hall, 90, of Angleton, TX, will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11 A.M. at Burrell Chapel Baptist Church in Angleton, TX, Pastor E.D. Black officiating and Pastor Gooden of True Honor Baptist Church eulogizing. Interment will be at Blue Lake Cemetery follow by a “Celebration of Life” party at John’s home.
John Hall passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, in Houston, TX.
John was a member of Burrell Chapel Baptist Church of Angleton and enjoyed hunting, farming, and family. John formerly worked as a longshoreman and hogg breeder.
He is preceded in death by: Taylor Hall (Father), Erma Hall (Mother), Judith Hall (Wife), John “Sweetpea” Hall (Son); 2 Daughters: Vanessa Hall and Sheryl Young; 3 Sisters: Lee Ann Hall, Anna Mae Hall, and Phobe Hall; 4 Brothers: Taylor Hall, Jr., Mike Hall, Ceasar Hall, and Herman Hall.
John leaves to cherish his memory: 3 Sons: Marvin Hall (Doris), Joseph Hall, and John Hall of Houston, TX; 3 Daughters: Veronica Carouthers (Shasta), Regina Hall of Houston, TX and Shirley Ann Norris of Angleton, TX; 1 Sister: Mary Woodard of Angleton, TX; 1 Brother: Sherman Hall of Angleton, TX; 15 grandchildren; a host of great- grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11a.m. at Burrell Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Angleton, TX.
