Jimmy Wayne Meyerdirk

Jimmy Wayne Meyerdirk, 72, of Brazoria, passed away on January 1, 2025 in Brazoria.  He was born in Bay City, Texas, on November 22, 1952 to Robert Meyerdirk and Eleanora Pless Meyerdirk.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Brazoria.  He retired from Chevron Phillips after 25 years of dedicated service.

Jimmy enjoyed drag racing/mud racing, hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gerald Meyerdirk and grandson, Eugene “Trey” Long, III.

Jimmy leaves precious memories with his wife of 31 years, Sandra Janell Meyerdirk of Brazoria; daughters, Bailee Meyerdirk of Bay City and Melinda Farris of Brazoria; son, William Meyerdirk and wife Kathy of Brazoria; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grand-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.  

There will be no services per Jimmy’s request.
