Jessie Faye (Bullard) Mack

Funeral services for Jessie Faye Mack, 65, of Brazoria will be on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul AME Church, Mound Creek, with Pastor Arthur Ferguson officiating and eulogizing.  Burial will follow at Peaceful Rest Cemetery in Brazoria.

Jessie passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

She was a faithful member of St. Paul AME Church where she sang in the church choir and served as the choir’s vice president.  She was also the church’s treasurer, steward, missionary and fulfilled the duties as secretary of the quarterly conference.

Jessie enjoyed being a mother, devoted wife and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Mack; son, Justin Jamar Mack; father, Arthur Lee Bullard; sister, Joyce Bullard; and grandmother, Bertha Barrett.

Jessie leaves behind precious memories with her mother, Virgie Lee Fomby of West Columbia; daughters, Kirby Mack of Brazoria and Janine Mack-Chizer (Marvin) of Angleton; sisters, Mary and Irma Jean Bullard, Thelma Jackson, Jackie and Cina Len Barrett all of West Columbia; brother, Danny Fomby (Veronica) of Lake Jackson; granddaughter, Zari Grace Chizer, another baby girl on the way and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Danny Fomby, Joe Williams, Richard Nichols, Marvin Chizer, Jordan Barrett and Brock Bullard.
