Funeral Services for Jerline Jackson, 75, of Angleton, TX will be Friday, February 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Pastor Joseph L. Mayes officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Family Peaceful Rest Cemetery, McBeth, TX.
She passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Focused Care in Baytown, TX.
Jerline grew up in Vine Grove Christian Church in Live Oak, TX and later joined Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She was a member of O. H. Herman Alumni and participated in the MLK Choir each year.
She enjoyed gardening, baking, and cooking. She sung in the choir and used her gifted talent that God blessed her with to play the piano and play for churches.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Ola Mae Edwards; and brother, Walter Edwards.
Jerline is survived by her husband, Emery James Jackson; daughters, Necole Jackson of McBeth, TX and Donyell Brown (Jeremy Sr.) of Houston; stepson, John Mayberry of Angleton; granddaughter, Shelby Jackson of McBeth, TX; three grandsons, Jeremy Brown, Jr. (Brooke Rodriguez), Jashun Brown, and Justin Brown, all of Houston, TX; two great grandson, Jeremy Brown, III and Jamyson Brown of Houston, TX; one nephew, Marc Edwards (LaSonia) of Missouri City, TX; aunt, Mary Porter of Houston; uncle, Frank Williams (Brigette) of Houston; godchildren, Robin Payton (Mario) of Angleton, TX and Byron Kindle of Houston, TX; and a host of great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Marc Edwards, Sr., Brayden Edwards, Jeremy Brown, Jr., Jashun Brown, Justin Brown, and Byron Kindle.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Angleton, TX.
A maximum of 100 people can attend the service.
Services will be streamed on Facebook Live at mtpisgah-angleton.
Due to the COVID-19 Virus, everyone must wear a mask, temperatures will be checked, and social distancing practiced.
