Jeffrey Fuller Obituary

Mrs. Jeffrey Lee Fuller was born on September 11, 1924, on the Hollow Plantation in Hearne, Texas to the parents of the late Mary Eliza Tardy and Governor Bolts.  Her sunset was at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2021.  She was surrounded by her children and other loved ones at her home when she departed this life.

She was a faithful member of Southside Church of Christ in Freeport, Texas up to her death.  She was an assistant teacher for Vacation Bible School at her church for over 30 years.  She was a lady of many talents, some of which included singing, and baking especially sweet potato pies.  She loved sports and was a die-hard fan of the Houston Rockets.  She could name just about all the players on each team and could recite their statistics with no hesitation.  What brought her the most excitement was wrestling and you could hear her telling the wrestlers to put their opponents in a headlock or choke hold.  She sewed and made quilts in her leisure time when she was not babysitting her many grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stossie Fuller; two daughters, Mary Nell and Clara Mae Davis; and one son, Ronnie.

Mrs. Fuller leaves to mourn her passing her children, Leola Richo of Clute, Eugene Fuller (Linda) of Houston, Mary Griffis (Richard) of Dallas, Larry Fuller of Houston,  Stossie Fuller of Oyster Creek, Janice Roberson of Brazoria, Linda Goods of Los Angeles, CA, Dianne Jackson (Adam) of Lake Jackson, Sylvia Darnell of St. Petersburg, FL, Sandra Banks of Clute; two Honorary children, Cynthia Davis of Lake Jackson and Jeffrey Glenn Fuller of Freeport; sister, Barbara Faye Rhodes of South Carolina; special niece, Debbera Hayward of Maryland; and over 100 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
