James “Jimmy” Clark, 76, of Brazoria passed into the arms of the Lord on January 4th, 2024. He was born on April 4, 1947 to the late Raymond Peter Clark and Rose Marie Roberts Twitchell. Jimmy was dearly loved by all who knew him.
Jimmy was a native Texan and lived a long life as a resident in Brazoria, Texas. He was a Civil War enthusiast, master brick mason, collector, fisherman, musician, and all-around music lover. He also was an avid birder and knew all the Gulf Coast bird names by heart. His most cherished birds were the raptors and falcons, with the Mississippi Kite and Caracaras being his favorites. He often sat on his front porch to catch a glimpse of the Mississippi Kites arrival in late spring and enjoyed watching them soar. He took great pride in manicuring his yard and it was always the most beautiful around. He played the drums in a band with his brother Danny in their youth.
He is survived by his daughters, Jakie Clark (Curtiss) of West Columbia, Brigitte Clark (James) of Houston and Sharon Peace (Jimmy) of Brazoria. He is also survived by his brothers, Donnie Clark and Danny Clark (Debbie). He is also survived by Dlynn Emerson, his loving friend of many years; grandchildren, Scout McMains, Maegen Sirus (Justin), and Hardy Quisenberry; three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, countless devoted friends, and his best fur-baby friends, Whiskey Mack, Benjamin, Suki, and Coco Loco.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Peter Clark and Rose Marie Roberts Twitchell. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Karen Clark George (Jimmy).
