Jaden Wade Buchanan
“J Boogy”
Jaden Wade “J Boogy” Buchanan, of Brazoria, passed away January 15, 2025 at the age of 23. Jaden was born February 1, 2001 in Galveston, TX. He loved music and learned to play the piano in second grade. He was an excellent student, who enjoyed learning. He soon learned the electric, acoustic, and bass guitars as well as the drums. He could pick up an instrument and within minutes, be able to play a song that he had in his mind. He was a truly gifted musician and was happiest with an instrument in hand. Jaden met and served Jesus at Victory Fellowship and Cowboy Church of Brazoria where he played on the worship team for both youth and adult services while growing up.
After graduating from Columbia High School in 2019, Jaden attended Blinn College and then completed his coursework to become a Medical Assistant at Brazosport College. In his free time, Jaden loved spending time with friends and family, jamming out, hunting, fishing, dancing, cooking and definitely eating. Jaden was a “foodie” and amateur food critic, always looking forward to his next meal where he’d savor every bite. His family will cherish the memory of him cooking and sharing his favorite soup, Zuppa Toscana, the day before his passing. Jaden’s smile lit up the room and anyone who knew him, loved him. He loved fiercely and leaves behind countless friends and family that were impacted by his kindness, generosity, and love.
Jaden is survived by his parents, Trampas and Marcy Buchanan; his siblings, Ethan (Jenny) Buchanan, Madison (Ari) Buchanan and Jorg Buchanan; his nephew, Eliot Buchanan; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that loved him dearly.
