She passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Methodist Continuing Care in Katy, TX surrounded by the love of her 3 children.
Jacqueline devoted her life to Christ at an early age at True Honor Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Junior and Senior Choirs. She also served for a brief period alongside her late grandmother, Sis. Ethel. B. Good on the Ladies Mission Auxiliary. She later united with South Post Oak Baptist Church/The Fountain of Praise, in Missouri City, TX.
Jacqueline was a quiet, studious child who enjoyed learning throughout adulthood. She attended Brazosport High School in Freeport, TX before graduating with 4 other black students in the first graduating class at Brazoswood High School in May, 1971. She later attended Brazosport College and the National Education/SW Campus in Houston, TX for computer technology.
Jacqueline had a smile for everyone; no one was a stranger for long. She found it easy to comfort others and put others at ease, allowing her inner beacon to shine as a testament to her love of Jesus Christ.
