Jackie “Granny” Russell, 77, of Lake Jackson passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 in Lake Jackson. She was born on June 21, 1944 in Antioch, California to James and Frieda West.

She loved cooking, watching murder and mystery shows. She loved her grandchildren very much. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kimberly Gay; son, James Jochum; husbands, Jimmy Clyde Russell and Hubert McNeal.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories; granddaughters, Holly Gay Crouch and husband Ryan of Lake Jackson, Cecilia Gay of Brazoria, Lorissa Bostrom and husband Andrew, Kirby Phillips and Austin Smith both of Sweeny; grandson, Seth Jochum of Sweeny; great grandchild, Bran Bostron; son-in-law, Wendell Gay and wife Shannon of West Columbia; daughter-in-law, Michelle Baker and husband Paul of Sweeny; good friend, Rhonda Fox and husband Greg of Sweeny; other relatives and friends.
