Ivy Dale Compton

Ivy Dale Compton, 89, passed away on February 7, 2024 at his home in Jones Creek, TX. Ivy was born on February 14, 1934 to Prater Compton and Edith Compton.

Ivy loved cooking, fishing and repairing rods and reels. Ivy was an Army Veteran and a retired United States Postal Service employee. He attended Jones Creek Baptist Church.

Ivy is reunited with his parents, Prater and Edith Compton; wife, Elsie Compton; son, Anthony Dale Compton; five brothers and one sister.

He leaves behind to cherish all his fond memories, his son, Chad Compton; brother-in-law, Elroy Fox (Evette) and his two grandchildren, Christopher Compton (Crystal) and Ryan Compton (Jessica).

Graveside services will be February 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Gulf Prairie Cemetery
