Innocent Moser Jr. Obituary

Innocent Hubert Moser, Jr.

“Junior”

Innocent Hubert Moser, Jr., 69, of Rosharon passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at West Houston Medical Center in Houston, TX.  He was born August 27, 1950 to Elizabeth and I.H. Moser, Sr. in Galveston, TX.

Jr. was the most giving, loving, & hardworking man you would ever get the chance to meet. He loved to go on fishing trips with his son, Luke, and granddaughter, Ashley, every chance he got. All it took was one simple question, “wanna go fishin?” and he was already outside waiting with his tackle box & a packed lunch. Jr. was the biggest influence on his son’s life, teaching him a variety of life-long skills such as fishing, welding, and of course the most meaningful life lessons. He most definitely enjoyed going on long motorcycle rides with his devoted wife, Patsy. As she rode on the back, his son Luke would be riding along right by their side. After the motorcycle lifestyle came to an end, Jr. and his wife would go on Sunday drives ending up wherever the truck would take them. In his downtime at home, you could always find him outside either on the 4-wheeler greeting everyone and keeping the neighborhood safe as can be, on the mower for hours at a time mowing anyone & everyone’s lawn, or tending to his well-kept garden to provide some of the best homegrown vegetables you could find. That being said, it’s easy to see he truly did put the well-being of others before himself. He loved to bring joy to others no matter the cost. One of the most well-known aspects of Jr. was his diligent work he provided for the prison farm. He worked long and hard in agriculture for TDCJ for a total of 29 years before retiring at the age of 50. Throughout his time working for the Ramsey Unit, he created the most long-lasting, trusting, and memorable relationships with his co-workers, inmates, and the love of his life, Patsy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Margaret Feigle Moser and I.H. Moser, Sr.; brothers, Peter H. Moser, Freddie Moser, Jimmy Moser; sisters, Rose Marie “Rosie” King, Barbara Ann “Dunnie” Barnett; half-brother, Alvin Moser and half-sister, Mary Edwards.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 38 years, Patsy A. Moser of Rosharon; son, Luke Jason Moser and wife Naomie of Rosharon; sister, Carolyn Barnett and husband Jessie of Hitchcock; brother, John Henry Moser and wife Nannie of Santa, Fe; granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Moser of Rosharon; good friends, Bill Henderson of Rosharon, James Smoot of Angleton, Rene Stillman of Harlingen, Cody Stillman of Laredo and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
