Hilda Marie (Woodard) Jammer "Tutta Momma"

Funeral services for Hilda M. Jammer, 77, of Houston formerly of Brazoria will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Brazoria with Rev. Larry Jackson officiating.  Burial will follow at Jerusalem Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.

She loved to cook. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Houston Methodist Hospital Willowbrook in Houston, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kary Woodard, Sr. and mother, Hattie L. McNeil (Tommie), daughter, Janette Marie Jammer ,grandson, Jeremy Jammer, great granddaughters, Jade A. Gremillion and Gabrielle Brown, brother, Kary Leo Woodard, Jr, .father of her children, Malachi Jammer, III and son-in-law, Robert McVea, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories; son, Barnell Jammer, Brazoria; daughters, Babette Jammer, Pamela K. Jammer McVea, Danette Houston and Christi Johnson all of Houston; brothers, Tommie V. McNeil, Jr., Galveston, Milton W. McNeil (La Quida), Brazoria and Broderick McNeil, Sr., Austin; sister, Sofornia Mack, Brazoria; 16 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; sister –in-law and best friend, Vera Parker, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Caldwell Brown, IV, Matthew Mouton, Garrett Brown, Sr., Kary Leo Woodard III, Lynn Thomas Houston, II and Willie Johnson, Jr, Eric Mack and Eric Jammer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Houston, Sr., Garrett Brown, Jr., Kaylon Brown (K.K.), Jeremy Jammer, Jason Gremillion, Sr., Christopher Lassister, Ray’Sone Garcia and Quentin Jammer.

Visitation will be Friday, August 31, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria. There will be viewing at the church on the day of the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. There will be no viewing afterward.
