Funeral Services for Herma Jammer Tolbert, 87, of will be Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Temple A.M.E in Brazoria, TX with Apostle Kelvin Hall, officiating and Pastor Vincent Hightower, eulogizing. Burial will follow at Mims Cemetery in Brazoria, TX.
She passed away on June 30, 2025 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX.
She was a member on Zion Temple A.M.E. where she served on the Mission Board and the Food Pantry Ministry. She had a passion for Gardening and a gift for Cooking. She never met a stranger and brought joy to her friends and family by her thoughtfulness, kindness and beautiful smile. She will be forever missed.
She survived by her sons, Arthur Ray “Salt” Jammer of Oyster Creek, Freddie Lee Adams and spouse Theresa of Houston and Billie D. Adams and spouse Melony who she considered as a daughter; sister-in-law, Jean Jammer; best friend, Audrey Dixon of Brazoria; 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Whitney Adams, William Adams, Cameron Adams, Quentin Baugh, Dorell Woodard and Melvin Spiller.
Visitation will be Friday, July 18, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria, TX.
