Henry Gutierrez Ordonez, 66, of Angleton passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024 surrounded by his loving family in Galveston, TX. He was born on December 2, 1957 to Felix and Rofugio Gutierrez Ordonez.
He attended Family Life Church in Lake Jackson. He enjoyed crafts, woodwork, barbecuing and cooking. He was always willing to help out in the community. He was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and Houston Astros.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Bianca Ordonez and Nikki Ordonez-Murphy; sister, Louisa Ordonez-Delos Santos; brothers, Felix Ordonez, Jr., Tomas Ordonez and Domingo Ordonez; brother-in-law, David Trevino; niece, Tommie Lyn Ordonez-Flores; nephew, Marky Lee Ordonez and great nephew Ryan Lee Ordonez.
He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Ordonez-Trevino of Angleton, Teresa Ordonez of Freeport, Alice Robinson and Martha Silva, both of Lake Jackson; sister-in-law, Helen Ordonez of Angleton; best friend, Willie Thomas of Angleton, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, July 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Angleton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tino Ordonez, Domingo Garcia, Willie Thomas, Lee Roy Sosa, Rudy Salazar, Alex Guardiola, Max Robinson and Cesar Calderon.
The family is asking that everyone wear Washington Redskins attire or the color maroon.
