Gregory Karl Roberson

Funeral services for Gregory Karl Roberson, 64, of West Columbia will be Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 224 County Road 160, Cedar Lane, TX at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor K. W. Bree officiating and Pastor Michael Riddick II eulogizing.  Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Cedar Lake, TX.

Greg was an art teacher for 29 years.  He enjoyed participating in Black History Programs, fixing things, traveling and spending time with family.  He also loved art, going to museums, playing the saxophone and the harmonica.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Lewis Roberson, Sr. and Tena Lee Gee Roberson.

Greg is survived by his fiancé, Angela A. Williams; sisters, Dorothy Bess, Evelyn Joice Snell, Delbra Simpson, Phyllis Roberson, Paula Jones, Yolanda James; brothers, Pastor Charles Roberson, Sr., Deacon John Lewis Roberson, Jr., Johnny Ray Roberson, Jackie DeShawn Roberson; best friends, Telesa A. Nickerson, Houston Langner, Raymond Ward; 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Montra’ Roberson, Joshua Roberson, John Roberson III, Christopher B. Williams, Kevin N. Williams and Malik Roberson.  Following the casket will be Derek Bess, Rodrick James, Jr., Robert Comfort, Jr. and Herman Bell, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Pastor Charles Roberson, Sr., Deacon John Lewis Roberson, Jr., Charlie Bess and Johnny Ray Roberson.
