Georgia Mae Granville
Funeral services for Georgia Mae Granville, 90, of West Columbia, formerly of Bailey’s Prairie, will be Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Dixon Funeral Home, 2025 E. Mulberry, Angleton, Texas with Pastor Lynn Phipps officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Rest Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.
She passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 in West Columbia.
She was a lifetime member of Burrell Chapel Baptist Church where she served as chair of Pastor’s aide, member of missionary society and chairman of the culinary staff. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat and entertaining. She loved to cook, play bingo and dominoes.
She leaves to emulate her life; daughter, Loretta Granville Washington, West Columbia; step-daughter, Mary Granville Woods, Angleton; daughter-in-law, Doris Granville, Angleton; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Sterling Blake Thomas, Nelson Granville Thomas, Rayland Royce Robinson, Javis Harold Woods, Kendrick O’Dell Harris and Shane Justin Anderson.
Visitation will be Friday, June 18, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Angleton. Her funeral services will be livestream on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/DixonFuneralTX.
