Funeral services for Freddie Joyce Anderson, 73, of Angleton, will be Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Westside Church of Christ, 600 W. Miller, Angleton, Texas, with Brother Dale Williams officiating and Minister Algie Armstead eulogizing. Burial will follow at West Columbia Paradise Cemetery.
She peacefully passed away at home on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
Freddie worked as the Head Secretary for the Research Department at Dow Chemical Company in Freeport, Texas until she retired in the mid 1990’s.
Freddie had a servant heart for the Lord and continued allowing the Lord to use her through her secretarial skills and being a vessel for the Lord to use. She dedicated her entire life to being a shining light and spreading the Lord’s message
Freddie is preceded in death by her parents, Ethel M. Robertson and R. V. Robertson; brothers, Patrick C. Robertson, Warren W. Robertson, and Joseph H. Robertson; sister, Kathy R. Robertson.
Freddie is survived by her faithful husband, Richard Anderson; sons, Cedric Anderson (Angleton) and Brian Anderson (Angleton); sisters, Marva Robertson-Eggins (Houston), Johnnie Robertson (Houston) and Hester Robertson-Jones (Houston); brother, Rod V. Robertson (Houston) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, her Church of Christ Family and a lifetime of friends.
Active pallbearers will be Julius Robertson, Franklyn Jones, Brandon Jones, Eric Caldwell, Brother Jack Austin and Leroy Wright.
Visitation will be same day as service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
