Fernando Castro (Freddy)

Fernando “Freddy” Castro, 70, of Brazoria went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 26, 2024 in Webster, TX. He was born on March 06, 1954 to Jose “Pepe” Castro and Mary Salazar in La Feria, TX.

Freddy attended Primera Iglesia Bautista Brazoria church. He enjoyed playing pool, working on cars, barbecuing, cooking, and watching movies.

Freddy is proceeded in death by his father, Jose Castro; mother, Mary L. Salazar; brother, John J Castro; and sister, Angel Lewis.

He leaves behind to cherish precious memories his sisters, Yolanda Munguia (Ruben) of Alvin, TX, Minerva Martinez (Zotero) of Brazoria, TX, Irma Castro of Brazoria, TX, and Elba Castro of Angleton, TX; best friend, Larry Weathers; a host of nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Brazoria Cemetery with Rudy Lara officiating.
