Harvey passed away at St. Luke’s Health-Sugar Land Hospital in Sugar Land, Texas on December 12, 2023, surrounded by family. Harvey was born to Elroy and Merle Kersh on December 4, 1943, in Hallettsville, Texas.
Harvey is preceded in death by his Parents.
Harvey will forever be remembered and missed by those who love him. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sandra Kersh; his son, Tommy Kersh, and his wife Kristi; and his daughter, Karri Shaw, and husband Shannon; grandchildren: Lane Shaw, Skylar Kersh, Stevie Kersh, and Madilyn Gonzales.
Harvey leaves a legacy of love and dignity. He is the epitome of the authentic Cowboy, skilled roper, horseman, and rancher. He also had a passion for beautiful classic cars.
Above all, Harvey loved his family fiercely and made treasured bonds with his Grandchildren that will never be broken.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Dixon Funeral Home, 1211 S. Brooks St., Brazoria, Texas.
Graveside services will be on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 2:00 pm. at Geiger Cemetery, 2827 CR 147, Sublime, Texas 77986.
Following the interment, the family invites family and friends to a reception at Los Cabos San Lucas, 1636 N. Texana St., Hallettsville, Texas 77964
