Funeral services for Elijah Weston, 94, of Spring, TX, will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, Brazoria TX with Pastor Kelvin Broadnax officiating and Pastor Charles West, Sr. eulogizing.  Burial will follow at Galilee Cemetery in Brazoria, TX.

He passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023.

He was born on May 26, 1928 to the late George Weston and Sarah Green Weston in McClellanville, South Carolina.

He was affectionately known as Captain Elijah Weston.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Weston; father, George Weston; mother, Sarah Weston; brothers, James Weston and Roger Weston; sisters, Sarah Ball, Pauline Ann Weston and Edna Richardson.

He leaves to cherish his memory; daughter, Latrica Johnson of Spring, Tx; sister, Mary Weston of New York, NY, 4 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives.

Active pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be same day of service from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
