Dorothy Mae White

Dorothy Mae White, 78, of Brazoria passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Creekside Village in Clute, TX.   She was born April 18, 1942 in Richmond, TX to Charley and Oma Shoaf.

She enjoyed gardening and puzzles. She worked as a florist and was the former owner of Garden Acres Florist.  She also worked as secretary in the insurance business.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Gilbert Keith White; her parents, Charley and Oma Shoaf and sister, Peggy Shoaf Ford.

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Cindy Dorene Reeves and husband Larry of West Columbia; sons, David Keith White and wife Toni of Brazoria, Dennis Eldon White, Sr. and wife Terri of Brazoria, TX; brother, Charles Wayne Shoaf and wife Ruth of Copperas Cove, TX; grandchildren, Nicki Hemeyer and husband Matthew of Molino, FL, James Myers, Jr. and wife Christina of Clute, Dennis White, Jr. of Brazoria and Kristen Reeves of West Columbia; great grandchildren, Johnathan Malmstrom of Brady, TX, Skyler Myers of Clute, Daniel Kiser and Harley Kiser, both of Molino, FL, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Monday, August 10, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Brazoria Cemetery in Brazoria, TX.
