Doris Irene Weaver of Brazoria was born on October 8, 1948 in Wharton, TX to Charles and Arena Bacak

She passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 in Galveston, TX.

Doris was a member of Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in West Columbia, TX and enjoyed crocheting and being around family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Weaver; parents, Charles and Arena Bacak; sister, Judith Rogers-Parker and brother, J.C. Bacak.

She is survived by her sons, Edward Lynn Weaver and spouse Tammy of Brazoria, David Earl Weaver of Alvin and James Mathew Weaver and spouse Diana of Houston; daughter, Medina Marie Taylor and spouse Christopher of Sweeny; sister, Margaret Wilke of Brazoria; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; best friends, Carmen Colquitt, Paula Edwards and Lupe Martinez and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria, TX from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
