Donrayele Charles Sallins

A Celebration of Life honoring Donrayele Sallins, Sr. will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria with Bishop Jeff Williams officiating.  He passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 in Freeport, TX.

He loved painting and recreating shoes.  He also loved painting over objects restoring them and bringing them back to life.

Donrayele was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Lunford; paternal grandparents, Author Sr. and Florida Mae Lunford; maternal grandmother, Will Marie Sallins and cousin, KeJuan Jones.

He leaves precious memories with his mother, Onita Sallins of Freeport; maternal grandfather, Charles Sallins, Sr. of Houston; sons, Donrayele Sallins, Jr. of Lufkin, Dontavios Sallins of Freeport and Romeo Sallins of Bay City; daughter, Aubrielle Sallins of Lufkin; sisters, Craimeka Sallins of Pearland, Melva Sallins (Joshua Boyd) and Dominique Lunford, both of Houston, Dominesha Lunford of Clute; brothers, Latorey Sallins of Freeport, Donovan Lunford of Houston, Donray Lunford, Jr. of Clute; friends, Jarrod Knight and Darnell Perry of Freeport, Shamarques Porter of San Antonio and a host of other relatives and friends.
