Deacon Ben ("Bubba") Mack, Jr.

Funeral services for Deacon Ben Mack, Jr., 68, of Brazoria, TX, will be Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at
Greater Mt. Zion Church, 6437 FM 521, Brazoria, TX, with Pastor Roland Hendricks officiating.  Burial will follow at Mims Cemetery, Brazoria.

He passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at UTMB Clear Lake Hospital in Webster, TX.

Ben retired from The Dow Chemical Company, Texas Department of Corrections and Columbia Brazoria Independent School District.  

He was a Deacon of Greater Mt. Zion Church, Brazoria, TX.  He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, helping others and attending football games.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben Mack, Sr. and Dorothy Mack. 

Ben leaves behind loving memories with his daughters, Patreese Mack, Angleton and Journi Mack, Brazoria; son, Jabari Mack, Brazoria; sisters, Rita George, Brazoria and Florence Kennerson (Kerry, Sr.), Clute; stepdaughter, NaKisha Richards, Houston; stepson, Percy Thomas, Houston; special friend, Bobbie Mack, Pearland; 2 grandchildren, Kyriaun Hawkins and Sekani Mack; 1 great grandchild, Karsen Hawkins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Percy Thomas, Earl Ward, Michael Johnican, Michael Edwards, Deacon Troy Davidson and George Anderson.

Visitation will be same day as service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
