David Villalpando, Sr.

David Villalpando Sr., age 77, passed away on June 3, 2026. He was born on March 3,
1949, in San Antonio, Texas, to Arnulfo Villalpando and Ernestina Villarreal.
He was a carpenter at Columbia-Brazoria Independent School District in the Maintenance
Department for 20 years. He enjoyed going to Las Vegas, fishing and watching old time tv
shows.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Arnulfo Villalpando and Ernestina Luna;
sisters, Dora Villalpando and Amalia Villalpando; brother, Abel Villalpando and son, Rene
Villalpando.
David is survived by his wife, Yolanda Villalpando; sons, David Jr. and Frederick, Sr.
(Sylvia); daughters, Jeannette (Todd) and Genevieve; daughter-in-law, Stacey; sisters, Pat,
Elizabeth, Lisa and Alicia; brothers, Frank, Johnny and Freddy; sister-in-laws Maria (Bill)
and Celia (Joe); grandchildren, Fred, Jr., Erika, Anthony, Dylan, Valerie, Chloe, Geovanni
and Kylie; 18 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Iglesia Centro Cristiano
in West Columbia, with Pastor Richard Garza, officiating. Vis itation will be 9:00 a.m. until
service time.
Active Pallbearers will be David, Jr., Fred, Sr., Fred, Jr., Anthony, Dylan and Geovanni.
