David Mendoza Sr.

David Mendoza Sr., 66, of Richwood passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at his residence.  He was born on October 21, 1953 in Freeport, TX to Isabel and Fermin Mendoza Sr.

David was a Longshoreman who loved to BBQ, watch sports and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded by his parents and his brother, Raymond Mendoza.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Uranga; sons, David Mendoza Jr. and wife Heather, Michael Mendoza and his wife Bailee and Gabriel Mendoza; daughter, Kristine Morris and husband Brian; sister, Lydia Rodriguez; brother, Fermin Mendoza Jr. and wife Julie; sister-in-law, April Mendoza; good friends, Joe Herrera and David Ledesma; 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Angleton, TX. with Pastor Thomas Lester officiating.

There will be a 75 person capacity limit and all must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
