Danna Kay Monroe
Danna Kay Monroe, 63, of Brazoria passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at CHI St. Luke Health Brazosport in Lake Jackson, Texas. She was born on July 30, 1958 in Freeport, Texas to Linville Monroe (Russell Brown, Jr.) and Betty Faye Lee.
She loved playing bingo, crocheting and going on road trips. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandkids and her two dogs; Sweetie and Sweetheart.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories; daughters, Misty (Frank, Jr.), Melissa (James) and Christy (Chaz); grandkids, Johnathan Wayne (Amanda), Michelle (Jon), Travis (Beth), Dillion (Jocelyn), Cameron and Caden; great grandkids, Ace, Kaden, Royce, Heaven and Kahmarei; brother and sisters, Sharon (James), Ronnie, Doug, Judy, Elaine, Wayne and Rusty; special niece, Shely (Doug); father of other three daughters, Wayne Hicks; host of other nieces, nephews and relatives.
Family will receive friends on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Lori Tiller officiating.
Due to the COVID-19 Virus, everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
