Corey Leon Ainsworth born on March 2, 1971 in Sweeny, Texas to HK and Margie Ainsworth, passed away on May 25, 2021 at the age of 50, at his home in Brazoria, Texas. He was a caring son, father, brother, uncle and friend.  

He is survived by his son, Justin Ainsworth of Brazoria; his mother, Margie Ainsworth of Brazoria; brothers, Keith Ainsworth and Reeta of Sealy, Texas, Bill Ainsworth and Margaret of Brazoria, Texas and BJ Powell and Alysa of Oklahoma; multiple nieces, 1 nephew, numerous cousins, many friends and his loving devoted dog Woodrow.

Corey is preceded in death by his father HK Ainsworth; paternal grandparents, Bill and Deanie Ainsworth; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Willie Lee Williams.

Pallbearers will be longtime friends, Lance Collard, Robert Black, Jerry Cotten, Charles Bailey, Rodney Mcwhorter and Allen Hill.

A viewing will be Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria, TX.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria with Pastor Mark Brumbelow officiating. Graveside services will follow at Cedar Lawn cemetery in West Columbia.
