Connie Lynn Warren-Hodges

Connie Hodges, 70, of Lake Jackson, TX, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.  She was born December 4, 1954 to Melvin and Martha Sheppard in Dallas, TX.

Connie was a retired school counselor.  She enjoyed being a part of Gutter Gals Bowling League, spending Sundays with her family, watching her son play soccer and her granddaughter play softball.  She also liked to read.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Doyle and Bessie Sheppard; sister, Jean Lloyd and brother-in-law, Danny Lloyd.

Connie leaves precious memories with her husband and best friend, Gary Hodges; sons, Ryan Warren (Shannon) of Clute, TX, Bryan Hodges (Erika) of Angleton, TX; daughter, Cassie Phillips (Jason) Lake Jackson, TX; sisters, Donna Cole, Red Oak, Janice Cotton (Leon) Colbyville, TX; 7 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2025 at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria.  Burial will follow at Brazoria Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Bryan Hodges, Gilbert Arispe, Gavin Phillips, Slade Phillips, Jason Phillips and Maverick Pulido.
