Funeral services for Clarence Holmes, Jr. will be Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Bell Bottom Community, 2004 CR 162, Bay City, Texas with Pastor Mark Bree, Sr. officiating.

He passed away on May 21, 2025 in Bay City, TX.

Clarence served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He enjoyed working outdoors, fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Sr. and Evelina Holmes; brothers, Isaac and Perry Lloyd Holmes and sister Rita Joyce Holmes.

Clarence leaves precious memories for his daughter, Tameka Holmes, Rosenberg; sister, Grace Holmes Rutherford, Bay City; brother, Ransom Holmes, Sr., Chicago, IL and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be same day as service from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
