Funeral services for Clara Tims, 75, of Brazoria will be Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Brazoria where Rev. K.B. McDonald is the pastor with Pastor Otis Petteway, III officiating and Pastor Jonathan Taylor eulogizing.  Burial will follow at Fields Paradise Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.

 She passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at CHI St. Luke Health Brazosport in Lake Jackson, Texas.

 She was a member of Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from Charlie Brown High School in the Class of 1962 and was voted best all around.  She graduated from Franklin Beauty College. She worked as a Cosmetologist at David Beauty Salon in Lake Jackson. In 1979, she went to work for BASF as a Lab Technician and after 27 years of service she retired in 2006. She loved cooking, sewing, going to the game rooms, casinos and traveling. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

 She was preceded in death by her father, Randolph Tims, Sr.; mother, Louise Fields; daughter, Yarnett Rena Baines; son, Rodney Williams; brothers, Lloyd Tims, James Tims, Fred Tims and Randolph Tims, Jr.

 She leaves to cherish her loving and wonderful memories; sons, Chedvrick Tims, Lloyd Williams and Sherman Deshawn Simple all of Brazoria; daughter, Mildred James, Hopkins, South Carolina; step-daughters, Matilda James, Smithsville, Vanessa Davis, Houston, Elaine Grice, Sweeny and Sylvia Taylor, Brazoria; step-sons, David Woodard, Fresno, California, Walter Martin, Metairie, Louisiana, Lewis Brown, Danciger, Sherwin Simple, Brazoria and Stacey Simple, Houston; special sister, Carolyn Gibson, Houston; uncle, Frank Fields, Brazoria; aunts, Nova Raye Fields, Houston and Carolyn Fields, Brazoria; sisters-in-law, Susan Tims, Brazoria and Emma Tims, Houston; good friends, Thelma Alexander, Hannah Williams, Juliette Williams and Merilyn Edwards all of Brazoria, Evelyn Lewis, West Columbia and Autrey Faye Milligan, San Antonio, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, great great nephews, great great nieces, relatives and friends.

 Active pallbearers will be Manuel Bree, Craig Brooks, Bradley Jackson, Richard Tims, Jason Morgan and John Kyle.

 Visitation will be Friday, June 12, 2020 from 5:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria.  A viewing will also be at the church on Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
