She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She liked the outdoors, enjoyed fishing and hunting. She loved life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories; mother, Mary Ann Reed and step-father Robert Reed of Brazoria; father, Jim Strate and spouse K.C. Strate of Angleton; son, Benjamin Saldivar of Brazoria; daughters, Mary Ann Strate of Brazoria and Alex Barton of Markham; sisters, Terra Todd and spouse Rodney of Brazoria and Jennifer Thompson and spouse Tom of Fort Worth; brothers, Jimmy Strate and spouse Irene of Angleton, Robbie Reed and spouse Jamie of West Columbia and Drew Warren of Katy; partner, Byron Norsworthy of Richwood, other relatives and friends.
