Brittany Keyonia Broaden-Woolsey

Funeral services for Brittany Broaden Woolsey, 33, of Lake Jackson will be Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Blue Run Baptist Church, West Columbia, Texas, with Apostle Harold Jackson, Pastor of Abundant Life, Freeport, Texas, officiating.    Burial will follow at Peaceful Rest in Brazoria, Texas.

She passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025.

Brittany graduated with honors from Enterprise High School (2010), Enterprise, Alabama and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services from Troy University (2014), Troy, Alabama.

She worked as a talent acquisition specialist.

She enjoyed traveling, being on social media and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; David Woolsey and Patricia Broaden; paternal grandmother, Georgia Mae Bryant Woolsey; paternal grandfather, James (Buddy) Woolsey; maternal grandmother, Leila Broaden; maternal grandfather, Quinton Broaden; maternal uncle, Randy Broaden.

Her memories will be cherished by Earnestine Woolsey, Braylon Woolsey and Elliot Jones, Lake Jackson, Texas,  Martiez Broaden, Belleville, Illinois, special uncle and aunt, Victor and Rechelle Beverly, LaMarque, Texas; aunts and uncles, Diane (Woodrow) Campbell, Belleville, Illinois, Lola Paige, George (Patricia) Hanks, James "Sonny" (Patricia) Woolsey,  Sweeny, Texas, Rubie Lee Nelson, Robert (Marilyn) Woolsey, Lake Jackson, Texas, Milton (Dorothy) Bryant, Danciger, Texas, Henry Nelson, Sr., Brazoria, Texas, Elizabeth Bryant, Jay, Oklahoma, and Earliene (George) Liptrot, Ozark, Alabama; special cousin, Tanisha P. (John) Carrier; nephew, Evan Jones, Lake Jackson, Texas, cousins, close friends from high school,  Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Sisters along with social media friends.

Honorary pallbearers are Martiez Broaden, Elliot Jones, Kieran Sturdivant, Pablo Rucker, Victor Beverly, Ali Glanville, Samuel D. Brew, Sr. and Willie Williams.

Active pallbearers will be Robert Woolsey Jr., Eric Green, Henry "Speedy" Fowler, John Carrier, Frederick Carter and Marlon Quinn.

Visitation will be  Friday, June 13 at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
