Funeral services for Brian Anthony Darden II, 21, of Lake Jackson will be Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Greater Mount Zion Church in Brazoria with Elder Roland K. Hendricks officiating.
He passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023 in Galveston, Texas.
Brian, affectionately known as “Two,” was a young man with many talents and had a heart of gold. He was a graduate of Sweeny High School, Class of 2020. Two was a talented music artist and songwriter with popular songs played on radio stations and even won contests. He was as sneakerhead, so much that he became at expert at restoring sneakers and bringing them back to life. In Two’s spare time, he enjoyed basketball, online gaming, fishing, hanging out with friends and his 4-legged bestie, Hades.
Being in Two’s presence meant you were assured to have a great time. He had a personality out of this world and enjoyed making people laugh. His laugh was contagious! Two was loving, kind, and a fierce protector of those he loved. He lit up every room he walked in. Of all he loved, his most precious time was spent with his family. He loved his sons with all his heart, and he hung the moon for his little sister and baby brother. Two will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memories; father, Brian Anthony Darden, Sr. of Sweeny; mother, Lori Russell of Sweeny; sons, Kai Lopez of Clute and Kyrie Darden of Angleton; brother, Braden Darden of Sweeny; sister, Brynn Darden of Sweeny; grandparents, Jimmy (Vicki) Russell of Sweeny and Gregory (Audrey) Johnson of Vian, Oklahoma; great grandparents, Margaret King and Bernice Darden both of San Antonio; and a host of other family and friends.
