Brett Cameron Carter, 34, of Sweeny passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 in Liverpool, Texas. He was born on November 3, 1988 in McAlester, Oklahoma to David Brents and Andrea Carter.

He loved hunting, fishing, going to car shows and going to the beach.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Evelyn Carter, Beth and Jay Brents.

Left to cherish his loving memories; father, David Brents, Sr. and wife Leitha of McAlester, Oklahoma; mother, Andrea Johnson and husband Philip of Sweeny; grandparents, June and J.W. Barber of Sweeny; son, Ayden Carter of West Columbia; daughter, Karmyn Carter of Sweeny; sister, Lindsi Calhoun of Tuttle, Oklahoma; brothers, Blake Calhoun of Tuttle, Oklahoma and David Brents, Jr. of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; special friends, Cassandra Esquivel of Lake Jackson, other relatives and friends.
