Bobby Wayne Frankum

Bobby Wayne Frankum, 86, of Brazoria, TX, passed away on, Thursday, March 6, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Wharton, TX, on November 25, 1938 to Samuel Henry and Nancy Marie Frankum.

Bobby was a retired home builder. He was a member of Brazoria First Assembly of God. Bobby enjoyed painting houses, raising cattle, building homes, being an ambassador for Jesus and he loved helping people.  He had a kind heart and a warm smile. He never met a stranger and would regal you with his funny stories, making you wonder if he was serious or pulling your leg.  He will be remembered for the twinkle in his eyes and his unconditional love for his family and God.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Henry and Nancy Marie Frankum; son, Pastor Dale Wayne Frankum; brothers, Dalton Dean Frankum, Edward Lee Frankum, Norman Kay Frankum and Kenneth Ray Frankum; sister, Peggy Inez Murff; granddaughter, Esther Elaine Frankum and great-granddaughter, Theodora Blake Bullard.

Bobby leaves precious memories with his wife of 66 years, Wanda Joyce Keith Frankum of Brazoria, TX; daughter-in-law, Gladys Lorraine Humphrey- Frankum; sons, Keith Randall Frankum and wife Rhonda of West Columbia, TX, Kevin Dwayne Frankum and wife Terri of West Columbia, TX, Thomas Daniel Frankum and wife Stephanie of West Columbia, TX; daughter, Linda Yvette Frankum Bullard and husband Wayne of West Columbia, TX; sister, Karen Jo Anne Ryman of Sweeny, TX; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Brazoria First Assembly of God in Brazoria, TX with Pastor Carl Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Brazoria Cemetery.

Visitation will be on the same day of the service from 1:00 until service time.

Pallbearers will be Dale Frankum II, Trace Frankum, Dakota Frankum, Brendon Frankum, Brett Bullard, Bobby Frankum, Kaeden Frankum and Lane Frankum.
