Betty Joyce (Welsh) Moore

Betty Joyce Moore passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born July 29, 1946 in Huntsville, TX to James and Ethel Welsh.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James “Simp” Welsh and Ethel Welsh; brother, Doyle Welsh and daughter, Elizabeth “Liz” Moore.

She leaves to cherish her memories; son, Eugene Moore (Tina) of Lake Jackson; daughters, Tammie Prihoda (Greg) and Shannon Pounders, both of Brazoria; brothers, James Welsh, Billy Welsh (Diana) and Ray Welsh (Theresa); best friends, Leslee Ewald, DLynn Emerson and Patricia Martell; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life for Betty Joyce Moore, 75, of Brazoria, will be Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at 1st United Methodist Church, 404 Azalea Street in Lake Jackson.

In memory of Betty Joyce Moore, the family is requesting everyone to wear red.
