Funeral services for Betty Mae Evans, 81, of Sweeny, TX will be Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Mt. Zion Church in Brazoria, TX with Rev. A. J. Jones officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Danciger, TX.
Betty loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved fishing, cooking, shopping, going to church and reading her bible. She loved watching wrestling, sitting on the porch and playing with her dog, Sophie. Betty also loved wearing her different colored hats for any occasion whether it was for church or casual everyday wear.
Betty leaves cherished precious memories with her daughter, Lisa McLeod (Charles); sons, Joseph Patterson (Krystal), Robert Patterson (Diera); sister, Lillie Bell James; brother-in-law, Curtis Evans (Sherri); 25 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, September 12, 2025 at Dixon Funeral Home from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
