It is with a heavy heart and yet great peace to announce the passing of Betty Lou Castillo of Brazoria on February 1st, 2025 at the age of 78.
Born in El Paso, Texas, Betty knew only one way to love people: with her whole heart. She loved her husband, Raul, with her whole heart for 57 years. She loved her three sons with equal strength.
A life long Catholic, Betty was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church for 48 years. She was also an active member of The Catholic Daughters and The Guadalupanas.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Enriquetta Lianus of El Paso, Texas; her son Alex of Houston, Texas; her brother Charles Harrison of El Paso; her sister Teresa Payne of El Paso; and two infant grandchildren.
