Bethany Rae Hanna

Bethany Rae Hanna, 34, of Sweeny passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025.  She was born February 17, 1991in Galveston, TX to Steven and Carla Hanna.

She was a registered Dental Assistant who enjoyed being an herbalist and naturalist.

She was preceded in death by her father, Steven Hanna; grandparents, Ray Hanna, Mona and Jack Ryant; nephew, Alex Freeman and cousins, Abigail and Danny Scott.

She is survived by her mother, Carla Rylant-Hanna of Blackwell, Ok; son, Clayton Deslettes of Sweeny; grandmother, Daisy Hanna of Sweeny; sister, Emily Hanna of Sweeny and Seychelle Scott; brothers, Joseph and Adam Hanna of Sweeny; significant other, Nick Sheraden; aunt; Jessica Sott; nephews, Zachary Honeycutt and William Wallace, both of Sweeny; best friends, Emily Hanna, Terra Crabtree and Jenna Trust; and host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Sweeny, TX.
