Barry Dale Woodard

Barry Dale Woodard, 65, of Sweeny, TX passed away on October 14, 2024 in Sweeny, TX. He was born in Freeport, TX on March 17, 1959 to Floyd and Betty Jo Woodard.

Barry enjoyed gardening, fishing and watching the Dallas Cowboys.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Woodard; father, Floyd Junior Woodard; brother-in-law, Michael Victor Nettles; and nephew, Kevin Kyle Nettles.

He leaves precious memories with his partner, Karen Denise Tripson of Sweeny, TX; daughters, Lindsey Nicole Woodard of Lake Jackson, TX, Ashley Michelle Woodard of Houston, TX, and Kaleigh Lane Woodard (Jordan Strother) of Lake Jackson, TX; sister, Vicki Nettles of Brazoria, TX; grandchildren, Zachary Robertson, Rhyatt Woodard, Charleigh Strother, and Chance Strother; and his good friends, Rodney Fonteno, Dennis Billings, and Barry Kluge and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home, 2025 E. Mulberry St., Angleton, TX  77515 with Jerry Sutton officiating.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time.
