Babette Jammer
Funeral services for Babette Jammer, 59, of Houston, TX will be Friday, April 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Mt. Zion Church, 6437 FM 521, Brazoria, TX, with Elder Donald Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery in Brazoria, TX. She passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at her residence in Houston, Texas surrounded by her loving sisters and brother.
Babette enjoyed reading, watching old movies, and hanging out with friends, family and her grandchildren. She was a Certified Public Accountant and loved doing taxes. She was also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She was employed for years at a Residential Treatment Center where she serviced youth.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Malachi and Hilda-Woodard Jammer, sister, Janette Jammer and son, Jeremy Jammer.
She leaves precious memories with her son, Jarrett C. Jammer (Tabitha) of Texas City; special niece, Chrystal Luna; brother, Barnell Jammer of Houston; sisters, Pamela K. Jammer McVea (Robert), Danette Jammer (Lynn), and Christi Jammer Johnson all of Houston; partner, Timothy Warren of Houston; best friend, Joyce A. Jackson of Huntsville; five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Caldwell Brown IV, Carl Fields, Sean Cummings, Lewis Francis, Jason Gremillion, Claudius C. Grovey, Lynn Houston II, and Willie Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Garrett Brown, Vincent Hinton, Erik Jammer, Jeremy Jammer, Erik Mack, Wayne McNeil, Amade Okundaye, and Johnathan Price.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Dixon Funeral Home, 2025 East Mulberry, Angleton, TX from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Due to the COVID-19 Virus, everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
