Funeral services for Ashley Nicole Simple, 41, of Texas City, Texas, will be, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Labor of Love Church, 2250 Mustang Road, Alvin, Texas, with Apostle Kelvin Hall, officiating and Pastor Booker T. Randon, eulogizing.  Burial will follow at Galilee Cemetery in Brazoria.

Ashley passed away January 18, 2025 at UTMB Hospital, in League City, Texas.

Ashley worked as a Home Health Aide and she enjoyed arts and crafts.

She was a member of Abundant Life Christian Center, LaMarque, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Walter Hallam.  She is also a member of The CURE and LUPUS Organizations.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl Davis, Doris Mills, Mozella Thompson, Albert Thompson Sr., John E. Simple and Dorothy Simple.

Ashley leaves precious memories with her husband, Cedric Campbell, of Galveston; son, Kha’Yaim Campbell, of Texas City; daughters, Brie’lle Wilson, D’Armynie Campbell, Cherish Campbell, Ti’Yonne Campbell, Ti’Cyn Campbell , all of Texas City; granddaughter, Estrella Sepulveda of Texas City; father, Ronald Simple of Brazoria, mother, Vicki Dancer of Angleton; sister, Ramona Simple(JW) of Brazoria; brothers, Kenneth Davis (La-Sharon), Jesse Simple (DeQuincy) both of Houston,  James Davis (Kirsten) of Richmond; a special -loving stepfather, Eddie Caldwell Sr. of Galveston; friends, Merrian Crookshank, Tiffany Temple, Jasmine Davis, Nicky Deyon, Faye Stevenson, all of Texas; and a host of other family and friends.

Active pallbearers will be William Davis, Charles Morgan, Robert Smith, William Bryant, Eddie Caldwell, and Jerod Jackson.
