Arkeith Lamont Brown, "Bruce"

Funeral services for Deacon Arkeith Brown, 56, of Bay City will be Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Bay City with Dr. T.L. Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Cedar Lake, Texas.

He passed away on February 16, 2022 in Houston, Texas.

He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where he served as deacon. He was owner and operator of trucking company. He loved driving trucks and basketball. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories; loving and devoted wife that was together for 35 years and married for 17 years, Vivian Shorter Brown; son, Arkeith Lamonte Brown, Jr.; brothers, Terrance Brown, Sr. and Benjamin Brown; sister, Jackie Rogers; grandchild, Gysele Faith Brown, had many friends and other relatives.

Active pallbearers will be Brandon Sims, Earnest Sorrell, Jr., Kelvin Watson, Derek Watson, Corbin Dailey and Lahumphry Williams.

Visitation will be Friday, February 25, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.ar New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Bay City.

Due to the COVID-19 Virus, everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
