Annie Mae (Grice) Coleman

Funeral services for Annie Mae Coleman, 77, of Wharton formerly of West Columbia will be Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church in West Columbia with Pastor Alvin Handy eulogizing and Pastor Wesley Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at West Columbia Paradise Cemetery in West Columbia, Texas.

She passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Wharton Nursing & Rehab Center in Wharton, Texas.

She loved cooking, gardening, playing games on her phone and listening to music. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories; sons, Herman Grice (Maggie), College Station and Bruce Grice, Boling; daughter, Chole Jones (Clint), Wharton; step-son, Herman Coleman, Jr. (Rosie), Los Angeles, California; stepdaughters, Shioban Coleman-Andrews, Sugarland; Lisa Baldwin-Andrews,  Houston and Lady Mae Coleman-Carson, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; brothers, Sherman Grice, Jr. (Sarah), Edward Charles Grice (Brenda) and Wayne Hall all of Houston, Alvin Grice, West Columbia and Craig Grice (Pat), Pearland; sisters, Mary Lou Crawford and Bessie Lee Baldridge (Tom) both of West Columbia and Brenda Randall, Angleton; uncle, Edward Wilkes “Uncle Sonny”, West Columbia, 20 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Wayland Griggs, Brandon Griggs, Jarvis Urps, Adrian Baldridge, Vincent Baldridge and Ron Harris.

Visitation will be Friday, April 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home
