Angela Lachelle (Shelton) Blair

Funeral services for Angela Blair, 54 of Angleton will be Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Windsor Village UMC, 6011 W. Orem Drive, Houston, TX at 10:00 a.m. with Elder Isador Jackson officiating and Pastor Lillie Ferrell eulogizing.  Burial will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland, TX.

She passed away Monday, June 3, 2024 at UTMB Angleton.

Angela was truly a people person, having never met a stranger.  She enjoyed connecting with people and her outgoing personality was often infectious to those she met along her journey.  Angela’s sweet and kind disposition made her a rare jewel and she was a woman of integrity who loved and cherished God, her family and her friends.  

She was actively involved in several organizations and clubs including Mocha Moms, Jack & Jill of America, Inc., Kappa Mu Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta and various leadership groups at church. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Shelton.

Angela leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Eric; daughter, Lindsay; son, Warren; father, Von Shelton; sister, Sonya Shelton; brother, VH Shelton; uncle, Howard Davis and his wife Sylvia; sister-in-law, Rhonda Blair; brother- in- law, Jason Blair and his wife Tiffanie and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Chad Blair, Courtney Mays, Brandon Mays, Elroy Griggs, Aeron Griggs, Kyle Earl, Terance Colquitt and Archie Jackson.
