Webb Jones, Jr. "Bidie"

Funeral services for Webb Jones, Jr., 95, of West Columbia will be Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Worship and Outreach Ministries in West Columbia with Pastor Anthony Hall officiating. Burial will follow at West Columbia Paradise Cemetery in West Columbia, TX.

He passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019 at his residence.

He enjoyed playing guitar, playing dominos, fishing, hunting and working on lawnmowers. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.He was a longtime employee of Alexander Lumber Yard. He was a faithful member of Trinity Worship and Outreach Ministries where enjoyed singing. He was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of VFW Post 8551.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jones; parents, Webb Jones, Sr. and Judie Jones; brothers, T.L. Jones, Andrew "A.J. Jones and Robert "R.J." Jones; sister, Monett Sanders;sister-in-laws, Pinkie Jones, Lottie Jones and Bessie Jones; uncles, Robert Richmond, Andrew Jackson, Alex Jackson and Arthur Williams; aunts, Martha Williams and Mariah Sweeny; nephews, Austin "Top" Sanders, U.L. Sanders, Jr.; nephew he raised, Carl Frank Carroll.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories; nieces, Debra Williams and Yvette Jones both of West Columbia and Marnett Perry, Houston; nephews, Henry Sanders (Freda), Angleton, Floyd Jones (Glenda), West Columbia, Herbert Jones, Dallas and Robert Farris (Eula), Houston; great nephews, Patrick Williams, Damian Williams, Brandon Dixon, Andrew Jones, Donald Scott, Justin Scott, Jason Scott, Kaleb Jones, Colton Jones, Keeton Jones, Maurice Farris,Marlin Farris, Marquice Farris and Marcellas Farris; great niece and caregiver, LaToya Monae Scott ;devoted pastor, Pastor Anthony Hall; people that was special to him, Pete Alexander (Sandra), Sammie Polk, Luwanna Sullivan, Jareth Edwards, Michael Edwards, Taurean Edwards (Janie), Princess Hobbs and Dareth Hobbs; caregiver, Gayle Williams; host of great great nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Andrew Jones, Patrick Williams, Damian Williams, Herbert Jones, Alvin “Al” Banion and Keeton Jones.

Visitation will be Friday, June 28, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria. There will be viewing at the church on the day of the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be no viewing afterward.
