Teodoro “Ted” Aguirre, 64, of Brazoria passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Houston Methodist Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in San Juan, Texas, on February 24, 1955, to Francisco and Elida Aguirre.
He graduated from Texas State Technical Institute in Harlingen, TX with a degree in Welding. He retired from Dow Chemical Company after 32 years as a Pipefitter/Welder. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mowing, woodworking and crossword puzzles. Ted loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Guadalupe, Valentin and Anastacio.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 45 years, Arjelia “Helen”Aguirre and family members, Melinda Aguirre and Ostin, Melissa (Lupe) Garcia and their son Drake, Teodoro “Teddy” II (Chasity) and their children Shelby and Teodoro “Teagn” III; siblings, Ninfa, Carmen, Mary and Frank; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria with Pastor Tyler Owens officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
